terrasol works in partnership with project management teams and provides consultancy services to businesses for the design and supervision of general earthworks projects, including soil treatment, excavation and backfilling on compressible soils, and structural foundations.
Terrasol’s expertise in linear and underground projects is multidisciplinary, covering geology, construction methods, soil-structure interaction mechanisms, and the assessment of induced deformations, including at the working face.
The foundations of these structures require stability and deformation analyses, and in some cases dynamic calculations or liquefaction studies. terrasol is able to offer optimised solutions, including reinforcement using rigid inclusions.
In these projects, which typically involve retaining structures, foundations and earthworks—often on challenging terrain—Terrasol has the expertise to analyse complex soil-structure interaction mechanisms, as well as soil hydraulics, one of the fundamental aspects of such structures.

Nearly 40% of our business is dedicated to transport infrastructure and engineering structures, a sector where geotechnical challenges are particularly demanding, both during the design and construction phases.
Energy and nuclear projects account for 25% of our portfolio and are growing rapidly, demonstrating our expertise in sensitive and highly regulated environments.
The port and river sector, accounting for 10%, reflects our involvement in development projects in maritime or river environments, which are subject to specific constraints.
Furthermore, 10% of our business relates to buildings, industry and consultancy, where we support clients on a variety of topics, from civil engineering to specialist diagnostics.
Finally, 15% of our business is dedicated to the development and sale of software, as well as training, a strategic focus that leverages our expertise by disseminating our tools and training professionals in the sector.
